When I am 90something, I hope I am as cool as my great grandma. Look at her flare jeans too! She is so cute!
This is her at our wedding too… LOVE IT!
I just LOVE being married. Especially when you get to share the rest of your life with your best friend. I couldn’t be happier and I can’t wait to grow old with my love.

And last but not least, scored major wife points when I bought Drew a shirt of his favorite band…totally guessing on his favorite band.
Today, I officially placed our order for our thank you postcards that I designed. I wanted to use one of our pictures that were taken by Valo, so I waited, and it gave Drew and I a break before we had to get crackin on those.
But here they are, I love them. But my hand is not looking forward to their delivery because all this writing it is going to be awful! Hope Drew starts practicing his pen-men-ship so that he can help!!
It is crazy. Drew and I have been married for one month. Holy cow does time fly when were having fun. We’ve been enjoying getting to know each 0ther. But it’s been a great change in our lives. Because I’ve been behind on keeping this blog updated, here is a little recap of our first month being MARRIED!
We went on an amazing honeymoon. Had our first theft incident, but none the less, still madly in love and had a great time.
Went to a brewers game the day after we got back from mexico with my family.
We’ve brought home our kitty eddy and he cried like a baby all night.
Watched construction on a building progress outside our patio door.
Did our first DIY project for our home.
Set up our wii and made our miis.
Found Drew a salad dressing recipe that is suppose to be the same as Olive Gardens.
Saw fireworks twice, once at the lakefront and another time with our friends Gabe and Serah!
And finally, began setting up and organizing our apartment. (more photos to come)
Also, we’ve gone to 1 wedding. Fed Drew lots of good meals. Watched 6 movies. Ate at Moes approximately three times. Went grocery shopping 3 times. Swam in our new pool twice. And that’s all I can think of right now.
So if you haven’t heard, we had the most amazing photograhers shoot our wedding. To see how the day went down, here are a few pictures below, taken by Simon. More from Jake will be coming, so check back again.
Simon and Jake were right. Our friends are jealous of our photos and I would be too. So thankful we have AMAZING pictures. We can’t thank them enough!
A whole year or so ago began this quest to make a wall that had a bunch of typography on it. It is super close to being done. Just ran a few pieces short of the 3M sticky stuff that doesn’t ruin your walls. I’ll show you the process in photos. A special shout out to my husband, Drew for helping me hang them up on the walls. I would not have been able to do it without his expertise! And my parents for purchasing and hunting down all the letters for me!
So I am missing three letters, and you can probably tell where, they are the big letters too. I will post the completely finished piece along with more pictures or our apartment. Below is a mishap I came across while doing this project. No clue why either.
Well we got back from our honeymoon on Saturday night, so a couple days ago. So far we’ve just been trying to get everything situated at our apartment (pictures coming soon). But we had an awesome time, minus a couple mishaps, it was an amazingly relaxing and fun vacation. One of my favorite places to be is the beach, I can fall asleep to the ocean crashing against the shore any night. PS that picture above is for real, not no screensaver picture.
We went to Ocean Coral and Turquesa in Riviera Maya, which is near Cancun, but away from the hussle-bussle of the downtown night life of Cancun. Here are some pictures from our week!
Yesterday, Drew and I finally tied the knot! It was an amazing day filled with happy tears and laughs, and we are so thankful for everyone who came out to show us their love. We love and appreciate you so much! It was the best day.
Today, Drew and I are getting our things ready to go because we leave for our honeymoon at 4:30am at this amazing resort. We can’t wait. While Drew is packing, I thought I’d share a quick peek of our day, taken by our amazing photographers Jake and Simon from, Valo. There is lots more awesomeness where that came from, just wait!
