Sheboygan Vacation 2017

Our plans for a vacation this summer got thrown out the window since it would be too hard to travel very far away, this far in my pregnancy, and too hard to travel with a super tiny newborn. So we went on a quick, mini vacation to Sheboygan. We stayed at Blue Harbor Resort, which is right on Lake Michigan – we had a lake view room and it was gorgeous!

We took advantage of the waterpark, the beach, and some local kids places such as a muesum and bookworm gardens.

Easter 2016

We pretty much celebrated Easter all month long because why not! Em loves bunnies, which she calls “hop hop” so we made Easter Bunny masks, colored egg shaped objects, went to see baby chicks and bunnies, went to see the Easter Bunny, dyed eggs, went on an egg hunt and much more. Here’s the highlight reel of Easter 2016.

Yo Mama Date Night

Thursdays Drew and I do date night – whether that’s going out once a month or putting Emerald to bed and watching a movie. Sometimes before she goes to bed we go on a quick family date – this month we went to Yo Mama…

Valentine’s Day 2016

For Valentine’s Day we all got each other small gifts – Em got a pair of PJs, some socks and cookies, we’re trying not to have her obsessed with candy quite yet 😉 She was a fan of all of the above!

I got Drew a book and a “cat vadar” mug and he got me a floral robe which I’ve been wanting.

The Zoo in January

We experienced a heatwave this past weekend, 40 degrees in January in Wisconsin usually doesn’t happen, so we headed to the zoo for a morning out of the house. We mainly hung out in the buildings but stopped by a few of the outdoor animals who were active.

Christmas Day 2015

Christmas Day is always celebrated with cinnamon rolls and coffee for breakfast, then we head downstairs to open presents with just our little family. We let Em play with her presents while we finish opening ours and cleaning up.

Once we’re done playing and cleaning up, we head to my parent’s house to celebrate with my parents, sisters and their families.

Christmas Eve 2015

Christmas Eve morning started with some snuggles in bed and waking up daddy after he got to sleep in, stinker!

Then we got dressed up and ready for church. We tried to grab a quick family photo, but Emerald had other plans…

Then we headed to Life Church for their Christmas Eve, which is always so fun!

And lastly we headed to Kathy & Scott’s house for appetizers and opening a few presents…

Wyler Christmas 2015

We celebrated Christmas early with Drew’s side of the family since his sister Stephanie was able to come home earlier in December. We had everyone at our house and Em enjoyed opening sooo many presents, it was actually kind of overwhelming, ha! She loves her little zoo with all the animals and her Cozy Coupe! We also can’t wait until it warms up and we can head to the zoo since we got a zoo pass for 2016.
