Wow – I had no idea what I was missing all along – not jumping on the bandwagon of pinterest. Its basically a visual bookmarking system for me. I’m pretty good at bookmarking things, however when you bookmark too many within your browser, it basically defeats the purpose. BUT I love Pinterest in that you can categorize them, view them visually and search your pins and others pins. So if you are on pinterest, follow me (Vanessa) or let me know you are on so I can follow you!
Each Summer, we try to go out fishing with my dad on his boat. While we really hate to give up a Saturday to sleep in, to get up at the crack of dawn – we usually suck it up. Luckily this time, we got to go out in the evening. We both caught a couple fish, however my dad none. Sad!
Drew has been doing a summer internship at Milwaukee Electric Tool this summer, working with the hammer engineering department. He is learning and doing some pretty snazzy stuff… stuff that I have no idea what it is. Either way, I, Vanessa appreciate him and that he had this awesome opportunity (and the fact that he did three summer classes this summer – go Drew!).
And so the good news is that he was asked to stay on for the fall as an intern again. He had to rework his school schedule to make it possible, but we are super stoked! No more weekends at Brennans for him!
This is what he has looked like for most of the summer… well until now that his classes are finally done and he can enjoy the last month of summer!
